Join us for a creative, hands-on workshop where we’ll explore the beauty of Shibori using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
In this class, you’ll learn how to mimic traditional Japanese Shibori techniques—like folding, binding, and clamping—using paint to create stunning, one-of-a-kind textile patterns.

Perfect for beginners and seasoned creatives alike, this workshop will guide you step-by-step through the process of transforming fabric into a work of art. You’ll experiment with resist techniques, layering, and color to achieve those signature organic patterns—no prior experience needed.
Each participant will complete a beautiful Shibori-inspired piece (think tea towels, pillow covers, or fabric panels) to take home, along with the skills and confidence to continue creating on your own.
Come ready to get a little messy, have a lot of fun, and leave inspired.

| Instructor Bio: | Sam Ehrlich is a painter, designer, and internationally trained Master Colourist known for his bold use of color and transformative approach to furniture and interiors. As an expert in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Sam studies in Oxford, England under Annie Sloan herself, bringing advanced techniques and a refined understanding of color theory back to Texas. He is the co-owner of Keepers Interiors & Furniture, a respected design destination offering curated home furnishings, custom design services, and hands-on creative workshops. Through his work, Sam has helped clients across the U.S. reimagine their spaces with artistry and intention, blending fine art with functional design. Sam is also proud to lead the only official Annie Sloan Flagship Store in Texas, positioning Keepers Interiors as a premier destination for Chalk Paint® education, products, and inspiration. His teaching style is approachable and inspiring, empowering creatives of all skill levels to explore paint, color, and self-expression. Driven by a rare ability to experience the world through color, Sam brings a distinctive, intuitive perspective to every project—transforming everyday pieces into meaningful works of art and helping others do the same. |
