Participants will learn the basics of Tunisian crochet. Starting with forward and return passes, then moving on to 3 basic Tunisian stitches and 1 patterned stitch.
Tunisian crochet is the best of both worlds for crochet and knitting fans. We will learn how Tunisian crochet compares to crochet and knitting in the thickness of the finished piece and how it visually resembles knit stitches. We will learn 3 basic stitches to get you started in Tunisian crochet and 1 patterned stitch to showcase the potential of Tunisian crochet. Every participant gets a Tunisian crochet hook and enough cotton yarn to make a pot holder.
