Acrylic Painting 101
In this class we will explore the basics of color theory and how to incorporate that into our acrylic paintings. We will also learn how to artfully use acrylic paint to make realistic paintings using a still life as our muse. Join us to learn about blending techniques, form building, and how to get your colors just right.
Skill level: Beginner
Age limit: 12+
Materials need to bring: sketchbook if desired
Materials provided: canvas paper, canvas x2, easel, pencils, eraser, acrylic paints, brushes (variety), palette knife.
Students will learn how to create 3D form by blending light and shadow into skillfully created colors.

Through her teaching, she aims to inspire creativity in her students, helping them explore their own artistic voices. |
