'Sup Gnomey? Clay Workshop

Fall will be here before we know it. So let's get cozy and make some Garden Gnomes. You'll create a gnome out of clay and add cute decorations to the hat, then we'll fire them to be bisque. You'll come back in 2 weeks to paint and we'll refire to make them gorgeous.

The Art of the Clay Coil Learn the ancient technique of coil building, a hand-building method where long, rope-like cylinders of clay are stacked and joined to create ceramic forms. Coil work allows for slower, more expressive construction of vessels, sculptures, and complex shapes without the need for a wheel.
