Learn to make your own macrame wall hanging in this beginner macrame class! You'll learn how to begin a macrame piece, including an overview of materials and how to work a few knots, including larks head, square knot, clove hitch and half square knot. Leave with a finished wall hanging.

Let loose and explore the intuitive nature of this mixed media process designed to bypass your inner critic! Class focus is on spontaneous expression rather than a predetermined outcome. Using intuition as your guide, choose colors and shapes that speak to you while layering diverse mediums like watercolor crayons, collage papers, and paint markers. No experience required to create a unique canvas panel that captures your personal energy and style.

Learn to weave on a 16" Rigid Heddle Loom. Students will learn how to warp the loom and create two cotton spa cloths Beginning weaving is a two-session class with four hours of instruction. Learn the basics of weaving and create a small project. Class is $150 plus yarn (which is discounted during class and which will be discussed at the first class). The class fee includes $50 loom rental. Cost of loom rental can be applied toward cost of loom at end of class.
